The Shabbat Hosting Lab (SHL) is brand new to KSU and is a 10-week cohort learning fellowship that invites students to develop confidence and knowledge about Shabbat rituals, to design and execute a Shabbat skill set, and to become emboldened hosts, capable of facilitating a table experience in their own living spaces that is informed and inspired by Jewish wisdom and tradition. Beginning January 29th on Wednesdays, led by Rabbi Michael Ross and Irene Young.
*Participants will receive $500 upon successful completion of SHL.
Kol Yisrael features 6 weekly sessions led by Israel Fellow, Roei Mizrachi and Michael Pollak. This will start September 10th and will be held on Thursdays. Kol Yisrael will expose participants to different aspects of Israel and create a meaningful open discussion focused on the Jewish Diaspora and the Homeland.
*Fellows will receive $150 upon successful completion of Kol Yisrael.
