Paid Learning Fellowships
We are so excited to have you apply for Hillel's Spring fellowship cohorts! This semester we are offering 3 different fellowships; you can apply for one or all 3! Here is a short description of our offerings:
The Shabbat Hosting Lab (Priority given to Seniors)
SHL is a 10-week cohort learning fellowship that invites students to develop confidence and knowledge about Shabbat rituals, to design and execute a Shabbat skill set, and to become emboldened hosts, capable of facilitating a table experience in their own living spaces that is informed and inspired by Jewish wisdom and tradition.
*Participants will receive $350 upon successful completion of SHL. Being offered only on Wednesday Evenings
Kol Yisrael (Priority given to Sophomores and Juniors)
Israel is home to many cultures, histories, and identities. This 6-week experience invites you to explore how different communities in Israel honor their heritage while sharing a collective Israeli identity. Each week features a different cultural group through learning, discussion, and hands-on cooking of a traditional dish.
*Participants will receive $125 upon successful completion of Kol Yisrael.
Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) (Priority given to Freshman and Sophomores)
We will deep dive into Life's Big Questions while studying Judaism and having thought provoking discussions, all while building new friendships and a community! Alongside this, we will provide free dinner each session and a stipend of $250 upon completion of the 10-week fellowship. Being offered only on Wednesday Evenings
