Students on campus at the University of Akron and Hiram College are invited to take advantage of the many opportunities through the Cohn Jewish Student Center in Kent including holiday meals and services, Shabbat, Israel events and Birthright Israel trips.

Hillel at Hiram College

Hillel is a registered student organization at the University of Akron which provides numerous opportunities for students to connect with other Jewish students and be part of a Jewish community on campus.  Student interns, along with support from Hillel staff, host monthly Shabbat meals, holiday celebrations, and other events throughout the year.  Events are always free and everyone is welcome!

Hillel is a registered student organization on campus at Hiram College that provides consistent opportunities for students to connect together as part of a warm, tight-knit Jewish community.  Hillel's student board, with support from Hiram College and Hillel staff, arranges holiday celebrations, Shabbat experiences, and lunch and learns for the campus community to enjoy.
